The surroundings of Camping & Marina de Meeuw are beautiful to explore with your dog. Dogs are welcome in most nature reserves and forests, provided they are kept on a leash, unless otherwise indicated. There are specific locations where you can let your dog loose. In the Annabos, Bosje van Oranje, Kooisteebos, Mallebos, Ravensehout and near the ramparts of Brielle, you can enjoy walking and playing ball. Note the rules during the breeding season, these may be tightened.

Rockanje beach
In the high season (April 1 - October 1) dogs are allowed to run free on the Badstrand (beach between beach posts 12,000 and 13,300) in Rockanje, but only before 8 a.m. and after 6 p.m. From October 1, the beach is free for dogs all day.
Oostvoorne beach
At this wide, former car beach in Oostvoorne, your dog is allowed to run free all year round. Here dogs can run, swim and play to their hearts' content. Beware of the bird nesting area where dogs are not allowed, but otherwise the beach is ideal for a day out with your four-legged friend.
Maasvlakte beach
During the summer season, dogs are allowed to run loose on the southern part of the beach, provided there are no bathers. Starting Oct. 1, the beach is free for dogs all day.
North Sea beach at the dam
This beach is open to dogs year-round and is accessible via the freshwater side of the Haringvliet Dam.
Schenkeldijk beach
Walk along the sandy path to the Quackgors beach on the Haringvliet. Behind the dunes you will find this beautiful, hidden beach with wonderful vistas. Dogs are allowed here, making it a perfect place for a quiet walk and a relaxing day at the beach.
