Arrival and stay
- What are the arrival and departure times?
Camping Pitch
On the day of arrival, you can enter your pitch from 1 p.m. onwards. If you arrive earlier, you can already use the facilities of the park. On the day of your departure you must vacate your pitch before 12:00.
Exceptions are 2nd Easter Day, Ascension Day and 2nd Pentecost Day, when you may camp with a package until 8 p.m. at night!
Brielse Lodge and Chalets
On the day of your arrival you can enter your Lodge or Chalet from 3 p.m. onwards. On the day of your departure, you must leave your Lodge or Chalet by 11:00 am.
Camping Cabin
On the day of your arrival you can enter your cabin from 1 p.m. onwards. On the day of your departure you must leave the cabin before 12:00.
Of course, you may still use all the facilities the campground has to offer on the day of departure.
- What are the opening hours of the reception desk?
Check online for current opening hours.
- How can I check in outside reception hours?
It is not a problem if you arrive after closing time of the reception. Please contact us in advance so we can coordinate with you about your arrival.
- Can I enter and exit the park by car whenever I want?
If your license plate number is known to us and during your vacation you can always drive in and out of the park.
- May I receive visitors?
Yes cozy! Don't forget to register your visit in advance at the reception desk.
- May I host lodgers?
Staying overnight is also possible, you then pay € 6,00 lodging fee per person per night and in addition the tourist tax at € 1,39 p.p.p.n. When your guest stays overnight in accommodation, bed linen rental of € 10,- p.p. is also mandatory.
- Parking visitors and lodgers
It is not possible for visitors or/and lodgers to park in the campground. Outside the campsite there is the possibility of parking.
- Is parking available at all vacation rentals?
One car is allowed per pitch and accommodation. A second car is also possible for a fee. The car may not be parked on the pitch, on arrival will be designated in which parking space you can park your car. On the camping field "Spronsen" the car may be parked on the pitch.
To drive on and off the premises, we need your license plate number. You may drive on and off the premises 24 hours a day.
- Do you have a charging station to charge my electric car?
Camping & Marina de Meeuw is equipped with an Ecotap® charging station for all brands of plug-in-hybrid electric vehicles.
- May I barbecue during my stay?
Yes, you may always barbecue on gas and electricity outside at your own vacation rental. Barbecuing on coal is sometimes discouraged by the fire department during long droughts. Then a code red applies and you may only barbecue on gas/electricity.
Change and cancel
- Can I change my booking after booking?
Yes, small changes* you can always notify us and we will adjust it for you free of charge. For other changes and the (possible) possibilities you can contact us.
*small changes: number of persons and extra's booked- Can I change the date of my stay after booking?
To see the possibilities (if any) for your reservation, please contact us by email or phone.
- How can I change my travel party?
It is not possible to change your travel party yourself. For this you can contact the reception.
- How can I change or cancel additional booked extras?
It is not possible to change or cancel extras you have booked yourself. If you want to change or cancel something, please contact the reception.
- Can I still cancel my reservation?
Yes, you can always cancel your reservation. If you do this within 24 hours of booking, it is even free of charge. You can only cancel your reservation in writing, cancellation by phone is not possible. If you do not have cancellation insurance, costs will be charged when you cancel. These costs are calculated based on the rental price and can be found in the Recron conditions.
- What does it cost to cancel a reservation?
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours after booking. After that, you will be charged a fee. These costs are calculated based on the rental fee and can be found in the Recron terms and conditions.
- Until when is it possible to add cancellation insurance?
You can purchase cancellation insurance up to 7 days after booking. For last minute bookings up to 3 days before arrival, you can take out cancellation insurance.
- What are the terms of my cancellation insurance?

Booking and Payment
- Is it possible to take an option on a vacation?
Yes, it is possible to take an option on a vacation rental. This can only be done by phone via tel. +31 (0) 181 412 777 or by mail to atfo@demeeuw.nl.
- From what age may I book a vacation?
If you are 21 or older you and your family may make a booking with us on a camping pitch. If you are all between 15 and 25 years old then you are not allowed to camp with us.
- Will I receive confirmation of payment for my booking?
Yes, you will receive confirmation of your payment in almost all cases. If you pay by bank transfer, you will not receive a confirmation. However, you can see that the payment has been processed in the Camping & Marina de Meeuw app.
- I did not receive confirmation of my booking, now what?
You will receive a confirmation of your reservation at the e-mail address you entered when booking. If you did not receive a confirmation, it may have ended up in the junk mail or spam folder. Did you not receive a confirmation? Please contact us.

- Can I book multiple pitches and/or accommodations at the same time?
If you want to make multiple reservations, please contact us. This is because it is not possible to book multiple pitches and/or accommodations online at the same time.

When you book, you immediately pay a deposit of 50% of the total invoice amount. The balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival. If you book within 4 weeks before arrival, you must pay the entire amount immediately.
- Can I also pay on departure?
No, it is not possible to pay on departure. Before or upon arrival, the reservation must be paid in full.
- Where can I find an overview of what I still have to pay?
You will find an overview of all your paid and outstanding amounts in the app of Camping & Marina de Meeuw. It is directly possible to pay your reservation here via iDEAL.
- What happens if I don't pay on time?
If you do not pay on time, you will receive a payment reminder from us. Failure to pay will result in additional charges.
- Is it possible to pay for my booking on arrival?
For all bookings, the total amount must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival. If you book last minute, an iDEAL payment will reach us very quickly, so you can easily pay in advance. This way your vacation can start immediately upon arrival!
- Can I request a deferred payment or pay in installments?
Payment in installments is only possible for full season packages. For all reservations, you must pay 50% within 14 days of booking and 50% no later than 4 weeks before arrival.
Seasonal pitch pay in installments
Payment for a seasonal pitch is divided into three equal installments, which must be paid by February 1, April 1 and June 1. It is also possible to opt for 10 equal installments, you do pay a surcharge.
- To which account number can I transfer my payment?
If you pay via the app of Camping & Jachthaven de M eeuw, you can easily pay via iDEAL and you don't need the IBAN of Camping & Jachthaven de Meeuw. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, you can find our details here:

- What is the My Seagull app?
The My Seagull app is your personal environment to easily arrange everything around your stay. Here your reservation and payments are clearly arranged, and you can easily change your details. You will also find the current opening hours of facilities, the entertainment program, tips for activities in the area and the possibility to rent bikes directly.

- Do I need an account for the My Seagull app?
An account is not required, but it is convenient! With an account, your reservations, payments and data - such as entering your license plate number before arrival - are quickly managed. With your first booking you will receive the login information, which also remains valid for future bookings.
- Login fails, now what?
Login only works with the email address used to make the booking. No access? Request a new password via "Forgot Password?" and receive an email link to reset the password.

- How do I create an account for the My Seagull app?
With a reservation at The Seagull, an account is quick to set up. Open the My Seagull app, click on "No account yet?" and enter the email address used to make the booking. Within minutes you will receive a password. After logging in, this password can be changed immediately.
Please note that an account is only available to guests with reservations at The Seagull.
Annual sites
- What are the rates of an annual pitch?
If you want to buy a mobile home or chalet at Camping & Marina De Meeuw you will have to deal with various costs. The costs associated with a yearly pitch can consist of one-off costs and annual costs.
- What chalets and mobile homes are for sale?
Through JouwChalet.nl you can view all mobile homes and chalets currently for sale at Camping & Marina De Meeuw.
- Is it allowed to live at Camping & Jachthaven De Meeuw in my own chalet or mobile home?
No, it is not allowed to live at Camping & Marina De Meeuw. However, we are open all year round so you can decide when to spend vacations and leisure time with us.
- Can I buy a chalet or mobile home at Camping & Jachthaven de Meeuw?
It is possible to buy an existing mobile home and chalet. We have no more empty lots at our campsite. Discover the offer via JouwChalet.nl
Complaints
- I have a complaint even before my stay, where can I go?
We are very sorry that you are not satisfied with Camping & Marina de Meeuw. We do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We would like to find a solution together with you.
- I have a complaint during my stay, where can I go?
What a shame that your stay is not what you expected. We would like to help you further. Please stop by the reception. The reception staff will do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
- I have a complaint during my stay, but do not reach a solution with the reception, what now?
How troublesome that you can't work it out together. The front desk is there to solve problems for you. If this fails, the manager will take over the complaint. If the manager is not available or you are dissatisfied with the manager's handling of your complaint, can you email us? We would like to come to a solution with you. In your email, please include your complaint, booking number, contact information and any other information that may be helpful. We will work with your complaint and aim to send a response within 14 days.

- I have a complaint after my stay, where can I go?
We are very sorry that you are not satisfied with Camping & Marina de Meeuw. We always try to let our guests look back on their stay with a satisfied feeling. We would like to find a solution together with you.
To report a complaint, you can send us an e-mail no later than two weeks after returning home. Please include your complaint, booking number, contact details and any other information that may be helpful. We will work with your complaint and aim to send a response within 14 days.

Dogs
- Are pets allowed?
Yes, dogs and cats are allowed on all pitches and in some accommodations. Other pets are not allowed
- What is the additional cost for bringing a pet?
When you come to camp, you pay nothing extra if you bring 1 or more pets!
If you book an accommodation with a pet, this will involve extra cleaning. You therefore pay a one-time cleaning fee per accommodation, regardless of how long you stay.

- What facilities does Camping & Marina de Meeuw offer?
Camping & Marina de Meeuw has several facilities such as a playground, restaurant with snack bar, sandwich service, Kids Craft Club, boat, pedal boat and sup rental and its own beach.
- What are the opening hours?
Easily view the opening hours of Camping & Marina de Meeuw via the app.
- Can I receive internet?
Camping & Marina de Meeuw offers free wifi internet. The speed of this free internet is not super fast, but enough to read your email, whatsapp and surf.
The use of wifi at Camping & Jachthaven de Meeuw is free and intended for recreational use. If you want to stream movies, download and download larger files faster on your pitch, it is possible to upgrade your internet to Premium wifi for a fee!- What facilities are there for children?
Camping & Marina de Meeuw has a fun entertainment program during school vacations during the camping season (April-October) that includes games, crafts and the theater show of the vacation friends Vliet & Vloot. There is also a cool playground, a craft club and of course our own stand for plenty of entertainment. When you book an accommodation, it is possible to add a crib and highchair.
- Are any activities organized?
Camping & Marina de Meeuw has a fun entertainment program during school vacations during the camping season (April-October) that includes games, crafts and the theater show of the vacation friends Vliet & Vloot.
- Is there a recreation team present?
An enthusiastic recreation team is present at Camping & Marina de Meeuw during school vacations during the camping season (April-October). The recreation team provides a varied program of activities for young and old. For example, there are soccer and volleyball tournaments, film, games and creative evenings, puzzle tours, fairs and much more.....
Camping
- What time can I check in?
You can check in from 1 p.m. onwards. Should you be earlier you may use the facilities until your pitch is available.
- What time can I check out?
You can check out until noon. If you have received an access key upon arrival, turn it in at reception. You will then receive the deposit back, keep your debit card handy for return debit.
- Can I arrive at the campground daily?
It is possible to arrive daily* at a pitch (based on availability)
You can occupy a pitch from 1 p.m. onwards and on the day of departure* you must have vacated the pitch by 12 noon.
*Except when you have booked a package with a fixed arrival and departure day/time.
- Can I receive internet on my pitch?
During your vacation, you'll want to surf the Internet once in a while, to check your mail or to look up a fun trip in the area. Camping de Meeuw offers free wifi. The speed of this free internet is not super fast, but sufficient to read your email, whatsapp and surf.

- Where can I find the pitches with the most sun?
Spronsen 125 to 136 and 158 to 162 face south and Spronsen 144 to 147 are also sunny pitches.
- How big are the pitches?
All pitches have an average size of 100 square meters.
- How many sleeping tents are allowed on a pitch?
On a camping pitch, you can set up one main camping device (caravan, camper, family tent or folding trailer) and a maximum of 2 side tents of 6 square meters per tent.
- Can I make reservations at Camping de Meeuw with my ACSI or CKE card?
By showing your CKE card, you can camp economically at Camping de Meeuw in the early and late season. Since 2024 it is no longer possible to camp at the ACSI rate.
- What is included and not included in a pitch rental?
Included in the pitch rental is:
- 2 people
- Electricity (except for some long-term arrangements)
- 1 Car on/near the site
- 2 Side tents (max. 6 square meters per tent)
- 4 dogs
- Showers and hot water
- VAT
What is not included in pitch rental?
- Tourist tax á € 1,35 p.p.p.n.
- Deposit access key € 20 per pitch
- Additional persons surcharge € 6,- p.p.p.n. (from 3rd person)
Optional additional costs
- Preferred pitch € 12.50 per booking
- Extra car on/near the pitch € 6,00 (you pay max. € 85,00 per reservation)
- Cancellation insurance (You pay 5,50 % premium over rental price of the pitch/accommodation + € 3,50 policy fee + 21 % insurance fee over premium and policy fee)
- Dog deposit á € 2,75 per night + € 25,- deposit
- Do I have to stay a minimum number of nights?
At Camping & Marina De Meeuw you can camp for as little as 1 night. During special periods such as Ascension and Pentecost you can only book the arrangement.
- What devices can I use on a pitch?
On the pitch you have access to 10 amps of electricity (max. 2200 watts). To give you an idea of the consumption of the kitchen equipment*:
- Deep fryer 850 watts
- Microwave 750 watts
- Combi microwave 1700 watts
- Coffee maker 900 watts
- Kettle 1725 watts
- Sandwich iron 1000 watts
- Mixer 1660 watts
*this is the average consumption and may vary by device
- Is there a set arrival and/or departure day?
No, there is no fixed arrival and departure day at Camping & Marina De Meeuw. With the exception of Ascension Day and Pentecost, you can arrive and depart on any day you like.
- Is the sanitary building suitable for the disabled?
The sanitary building is suitable for disabled people. The building is accessible and there are special adaptations for the disabled. There are wheelchair accessible toilets with brackets, they are not raised. Furthermore, there is a chair for the shower and there is a separate shower head.
- What does deposit access key entail?
For the sanitary buildings at Camping & Marina De Meeuw you need an access key. The key is used to open the sanitary buildings and to use hot water in the shower or the sinks. You pay a deposit of €20.00 for the access key, which you will receive back on return. We ask for a deposit because we would like to get these keys back and be able to use them again for new guests.
- Is the car allowed on the pitch?
At the pitches on the Sponges, the car may be parked on the pitch. At the pitches on the Birch, the car may be parked in the adjacent parking lot.
In case you come with several cars, they are allowed to take turns to enter the park, we need both license plates. The 2nd car can be parked free of charge outside the barrier in the parking lot.
If you prefer to have 2 cars on your pitch at the same time, you have to pay an extra charge for the 2nd car. Easily arrange this by calling the reception or sending an email to info@demeeuw.nl.
Accommodations
- What time can I check in?
You can check in from 3 p.m. onwards. Should you be earlier, you may use the facilities until your accommodation is available.
- What time can I check out?
You can check out until 11 a.m., hand in the keys at the front desk.
- Can I gain weight daily?
Upon request, it is possible to arrive daily based on availability. Standard arrival and departure days are Mondays and Fridays. If a holiday falls on a Monday or Friday, the arrival and/or departure day will change.
- Is it possible to bring my own bed linen?
No, it is not possible to bring your own bed linen. Bed linen is a mandatory purchase for hygienic reasons. Comforters and pillows are provided in all accommodations.
You may bring your own towels, but it is also possible to book them when booking.
- Is there a kitchen package in the accommodation?
Yes, in your accommodation you will find a kitchen towel package. There is also a service kit waiting for you. The service kit consists of 2 cleaning wipes, scouring pad, toilet roll, bag of dish soap, box of matches, garbage bag and a dish brush
- Is final cleaning included in the price?
Yes, the final cleaning is included. Of course, you will leave the accommodation tidy when you leave.
- Can I receive internet in the accommodation?
The use of Wi-Fi at Camping & Marina de Meeuw is free and intended for recreational use. If you want to stream movies, download and download larger files faster on your pitch, it is possible to upgrade your internet to premium Wi-Fi for a fee!
- Are bed linens, towels and kitchen towels included?
Bed linens are included
For bed linen you pay an extra amount per person on top of the rent of the accommodation, this you take with us as standard. Bed linen cannot be cancelled. The bed linen package consists of a cover for the comforters, pillows and mattress.
Towels are optional
Towels are not included as standard with your booking, but you can add this to your booking under extras. Per ordered towel package you will receive 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel. So if you add 1 package, you will receive 2 towels.
Kitchen towels are included
In addition to 1 kitchen towel and 1 tea towel, you also receive a service set. Our service set includes a dish brush, dish soap, sponge, matches, toilet roll and a garbage bag.

- Can I add children's furniture?
Yes, it is possible to book a crib incl. linen and a high chair. You can do this directly when making a reservation or later on www.mijndemeeuw.nl.
- Are all accommodations smoke-free?
Yes, all accommodations are smoke-free.
- Can the car be parked at the accommodation?
The car may not be parked at the accommodation. Upon arrival, the nearest parking space will be pointed out to you.
- What is included in accommodation rental?
Included in accommodation rental is:
- Electricity, gas and water
- Cleaning fee
- VAT
What is not included in accommodation rental?
Mandatory additional costs:
- Bed linen € 10, - per person
- Tourist tax/waste charges € 1.35 per person per night
- € 20,25 cleaning surcharge dog (only applicable in accommodations where dogs are welcome)
Optional additional costs:
- Preferential fee € 26.50 per booking
- Children's furniture per item €6.
- Bath linen € 4.75 per package (1 bath towel and 2 towels)

Weekend stay
A weekend begins Friday 3pm and ends Monday 11am. (3 nights)

A midweek begins Monday 3 p.m. and ends Friday 11 a.m. (4 nights)
Weekly stay
A week runs from Friday 3pm to Friday 11am or Monday 3pm to Monday 11am. (7 nights)
